Paul has been making frames since he bought into his beginning framing business in 2001. He took his passion for surfing and put it into hand crafting complex frames for people to display their treasures. With Artisan Picture Framers in Subiaco and Wembley, Paul and his team made thousands of frames for people from all walks of life. Over the years, many interesting challenges have arrive along. Moving into the new, bigger premises in Libra Lake provides Paul a much larger space to labor in, along with a spacious, air conditioned showroom and more staff. The fresh facility even has cache facilities, so if you have the insignificant ones with you, you can quiet reach in and take your time selecting the frame you want to use. Behind all, treasures that are being framed need to be selected with care, not rushed in a few minutes. Paul and his team can make attractive frames that will give you joy for years to come.

We can frame prints, photos and paintings. With the larger boxes you need to remember the box will stick off the wall more, so at Paul’s Framing we have devised a couple of options to enhance the art work. Museum Glass This glass is the segment de resistance in glass. If you have a frame with damaged glass, then we can unfasten the uncertain broken glass and replace it with a brand fresh part of glass. Canvas Stretching If you’ve picked up a canvas in Bali that you want framed, or have artwork from your favorite local artist, then we can stretch the canvas onto a wooden frame so that you can hang it on your wall where it deserves to be. The client brought in the canvas but also some stretcher bar which had already had canvas on them but which had been previously removed. Trivial of trivia for you: this year, 2013, is the first year since 1987 where all four numbers in the year are different. We should get better quality photos of new work. Like many of us, life gets busy and we do receive our time (some more than others) to get that notable piece framed. If you have a canvas and are getting a framer to stretch it for you, then they should have no problem showing you the type of restrict they use prior they start. Our premises at Subiaco and Wembley were very desirable but fair didn’t have the room. Often thought of getting a desirable photo of us properly framed. We can do repairs to frames, replace glass or re frame items into new frames. We at Paul’s Framing do present a hanging service. Put a hole in the wall and put in a screw like they showed me and it was done! Good to see WA family businesses getting bigger! The other nice bit of news is that we’ve started painting the building.
