When we beginning opened our doors in Caversham, Western Australia, as Better Pets and Gardens in 2005 we wore shirts that said, We are now Better and we have worked hard since then to be just that. We now have many stores across the state which are all owned and managed by people that live correct here in WA and we’re immensely proud of that. We believe that having people that live in the community that they serve means that they will strive to provide the best service possible, thrive mighty relationships with their customers and of course, donate back to the community with their own personal spending and by supporting local organizations. Having locally owned stores is a win triumph for everyone. When hiring, we look for motivated and committed people who are passionate and highly involved in the areas that we trade. We do heaps of training on the products we stock but if you have notable experience and knowledge we would love you to share that with the rest of us so that we can learn from each other. Our shops are neat and orderly and healthy laid out and we work difficult every day to retain them looking that way so loving a broom and dust cloth will be a big help! As we stock, clean, serve and merchandise we also interact with the greatest group of people you will face OUR CUSTOMERS and STAFF. Assisting customers with purchases questions. Selling our products with informed product knowledge. Tidying and cleaning the place and associated facilities. Attending product training actively developing your own knowledge. Our stores trade 7 days a week so weekend labor is obligatory. Lifting and manual handling are part of the job.
